Reserve Lady Eagles blank Skyhawks

The Lady Eagles bookended the second half with goals en route to a 2-0 win over Point in the first reserves game of the season at the Dalraida Soccer Complex Monday afternoon.

Kaitlyn Ambrose opened the scoring less than two minutes after halftime, sliding down and poking the ball past the outstretched Skyhawk keeper. Dominique Rivera looped the second goal of the game in the 81st minute collecting a rebound from a blocked shot by Helena Jankowski.

Brittany Wilkinson stopped all six shots on target by the visitors from just across the Alabama-Georgia line, earning the clean sheet.

Faulkner's women's soccer reserves take the pitch next Tuesday against the Capital City Streaks at the Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex in a "road" game. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
