GULF SHORES, Ala. – Faulkner wrapped a weekend at the Gulf Coast Invitational Sunday morning with an 8-7 loss to Houston-Victoria. The Lady Eagles gave up three runs in the sixth and another in the seventh en route to the loss.

Colby Adams followed with a single to plate Hill and cut the deficit to 8-7.
Jordan Boyd entered the game to run for Adams and advanced to second on a

Gracie Pittman singled home
Eavie Polk. The Lady Eagles held that lead until the top of the fourth when the Jaguars plated four runs. Faulkner answered back with a five-run fifth to regain the advantage.

Kaileigh Harrison.
Erika Mitchell singled in Pittman before scoring along with Adams on a
Haley Ingram single. Davidson then singed in
Mandi Hart to put Faulkner up 6-4.
