Grant Sanderson comes back to Faulkner for his first season as Men's Basketball Assistant Coach in 2025-26.
Sanderson completed a two-year a graduate assistant stint with Kennesaw State, lead by Head Coach Antoine Pettway, where he helped the Owls to a Conference USA semifinals appearance last season and 34-30 record between the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons.Â
Grant Sanderson served as a student assistant in the 2022-23 season for Faulkner where the Eagles went 27-6 and hosted the NAIA National Tournament First and Second Rounds and a share of the SSAC regular season title.
He graduated from Faulkner in 2023 with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice with minors in Bible and Physical Education and is soon to graduate with his Masters in Criminal Justice from Kennesaw State.
Sanderson married the former Neely Johns, who was a member of the Faulkner Women's Basketball program in 2024.Â
