Mackenzie Vermette is a native of Enfield, Connecticut and joined the Faulkner Athletic Training staff in July 2022. Before her time with the Eagles, she attended High Point University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in health and wellness in December 2017. She went on to complete her Master's in Athletic Training at High Point University as well, graduating in May of 2019. During her time in grad school she had the opportunity to work with Greensboro College Women's Basketball and baseball, Duke University Football, and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Men's Lacrosse. After graduating, she worked as an Intern Athletic Trainer at University of South Alabama with the Football team. Most recently Mackenzie was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Loyola University of Maryland working with Women's Lacrosse and Men's/Women's Swimming and Diving. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Athletic Training (DAT) degree from A.T. Still University’s online program and will be graduating in February of 2024.
