MT. VERNON, Ga. - Faulkner's Alex Stutts tallied the game's lone goal seven minutes into the second half to gain the Southern States Athletic Conference win 1-0 here against Brewton-Parker Saturday afternoon.

After a scoreless first half Stutts completed the relay from Alec Daley early in the second to give the visitors the lead and eventual win.

Faulkner logged a staggering 28 shots in the game and placed 10 of those on target.

Pritchard Ndaira (5-3-1) secured six saves in his second shutout of the season.

Faulkner improved to 5-3-1 overall and 1-1 in the league. The Eagles will next host Middle Georgia State in an SSAC matchup on Oct. 11 at 3 p.m.
