GAINESVILLE, Ga. - Faulkner struggled a bit out of the gate, but once it caught traction there was little Brenau (1-8/0-2 SSAC) could do to slow down the visitors here in the 27-25, 25-16, 25-19 Southern States Athletic Conference victory this afternoon.

Cassie Bailie again led the offense with eight kills, hitting .238, and was second defensively with 12 digs.

The Lady Eagle middles had a field day with the Golden Tiger defense.

Tori Marchant and Alysa Klassen each had seven kills hitting an incredible .700 and .500, respectively. Klassen tallied six total blocks and Marchant added five more.

Libero Julianne Wilkes anchored the back row with 14 digs.

Katie Musser and Krystalynn Leomiti again split duties feeding the offense logging 16 and 11 assists, respectively. Musser added seven digs and Leomiti had four block assists.

Faulkner moved to 2-8 overall and 2-0 in the SSAC. The Lady Eagles will next host Martin Methodist in a league showdown at Tine Davis Gym Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
