MT. VERNON, Ga. - Kayla Tillman tallied 20 points to help lead Faulkner (13-4, 5-2/SSAC) past Southern States Athletic Conference foe Brewton-Parker (5-7, 2-5 SSAC) 84-69 here this evening.

Five Lady Eagles posted double-digit point totals in the matchup, but it was Tillman who spearheaded the offensive assault. The junior guard was 4-for-10 from 3-point territory and 6-for-6 from the free throw line.

Faith LeGate followed with 15 points, nine rebounds and a pair of assets.

Chelsea Burt, Shelby Williams and China Leary each had 11 points in the outing. Burt secured a double-double performance by adding 10 boards to her numbers as well as a pair assists and steals. 

Williams also offered up five assists and four rounds while Leary was good for three of each.

The win marks the Lady Eagles' seventh straight overall and sixth consecutive in league play.

Faulkner will next travel to Brunswick to take on Coastal Georgia (5-10, 2-4 SSAC) in an SSAC showdown on Saturday at 1 p.m. central.
