NEW ORLEANS, La. - Faulkner moved to 12-8 on the year with a decisive 25-8, 25-18, 25-14 victory over Southern Univeristy at New Orleans here this afternoon.

The Lady Eagles booked their second win of the day with the straight-sets blasting of SUNO following a 3-1 decision over conference foe Loyola at noon.

Kortney Barnes went nuts offensively with 10 kills while boasting a .625 hitting efficiency. The freshman middle also had a solo block.

Fellow middle Tori Marchant followed with six kills, hitting .308, and had a court-high three total blocks.

Libero Julianne Wilkes had a floor-best 22 digs and Cassie Bailie added seven more.

Katie Musser finished the game with 27 assists and had six digs.

Faulkner will next host Middle Georgia State in league action at Tine Davis Gymnasium on Friday at 7 p.m.
