MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – Faulkner's men's soccer team (8-4-1, 2-3 SSAC) shutout Brewton-Parker 3-0 for its second Southern States Athletic Conference win on Wednesday afternoon.

Frederico Fraile scored the first goal of the match in the 12th minute of action when he slid into a cross from Jarom Farnsworth for a tap-in finish.

Farnsworth would score a goal of his own, his ninth of the season, in the 43rd minute off of a deflection.

Augusto Camara would score for the second game in a row in the 70th minute, putting the game out of reach.

Caio Calado (8-4-1) got the start in goal, recorded three saves. Liam Hopkins saw time in the net late in the second half.

Faulkner's next match will be on Saturday against Middle Georgia State at Billy D. Hilyer Stadium. The Eagles will honor their three seniors, Victor De Souza, Renan de Sousa, and Farnsworth, before kickoff at 4 p.m.
