MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Faulkner's men's basketball team (6-0) had a field day on offense as they roll past Selma University 102-62 on Tuesday night at Tine Davis Gymnasium.

This is the first time the Eagles have scored 100 points in a game in six years to the date when they defeated Carver 101-78 on November 14, 2011.

Faulkner shared the ball extremely well in the contest, recording 28 assists on 34 baskets as a team.

Sean Edwards was a force passing and scoring the ball. The transfer junior came away with the double-double, scoring 14 points and recording 11 assists, most of which coming in the first half.

The Eagles have not shied away from shooting the deep ball, going 16-for-32 from behind the arc. They went nine-for-11 in the first half alone.

Faulkner was also solid defensively, forcing 20 turnovers, half of which were steals.

Logan Jozwiak and Lucas Luttrell both led the way in scoring with 16 points each. Jozwiak went six-for-six from the field, including three-for-three from behind the arc, and also added seven rebounds.

Rene Scott and Justin Rumph both finished with 12 points. The freshman, Rumph, also pulled down seven boards.

"We had a lot of guys play well tonight," assistant coach Drew Wilson said. "I also thought we did a really good job defensively. There are still some things we can learn from though going forward."

The Eagles will travel to Livingston, Alabama, on Thursday to take on West Alabama. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
