MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Faulkner's women's basketball team (9-0) defeated Carver College 80-54 on Tuesday night at Tine Davis Gymnasium to remain undefeated.

The Lady Eagles jumped out to an early 3-0 lead and never looked back when Kayla Tillman knocked one down from deep on the assist from Savana Flack.

Faulkner was hot from downtown in the first half, making seven of their 16 attempts from behind the arc.

The defense was strong in the first half as well. The Lady Eagles held Carver to a mere 16 percent shooting in the first two quarters.

Tillman and Inga Armstrong were the only two Faulkner players to finish in double-digits, both tallying 12 points.

Flack was a stat-sheet filler, recording seven points, seven assists and six rebounds.

The Lady Eagles will take on Fisk University on Saturday at Tine Davis Gymnasium. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
