PENSACOLA, Fla. – Faulkner's women's basketball team (5-0) defeated the Lady Falcons of Florida College 58-49 in its opening game of the Pensacola Christian Classic on Thursday night.

Savana Flack led the way for the Lady Eagles with 14 points and added 10 rebounds for a double-double on the night.

Chelsea Burt was the only other Faulkner player to finish with double-digit points, tallying 13 in the game.

The Lady Eagles will face off against Trinity Baptist College on Friday in their second of three games in the tournament. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. central.
