SELMA, Ala. – Faulkner's men's basketball team (10-1, 2-0 SSAC) lost 71-64 to Selma University on Monday night.

Rene Scott matched his season high with 21 points to lead all scorers.

Sean Edwards nearly finished with a double-double, finishing with 15 points and adding seven rebounds.

Marquis Grays tallied 16 points in the game.

The Eagles will travel to McKenzie, Tennessee to face off against Southern States Athletic Conference foe Bethel University on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
