MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The No. 12 Eagles (11-1, 3-0 SSAC) defeated Southern States Athletic Conference Foe Bethel University 100-82 on Saturday night to remain unbeaten in league play.
The Wildcats maintained a one-point lead early in the contest, but Faulkner quickly took over and would not trail for the remainder of the game.
The Eagles were big from behind the arc, draining 17 3-pointers as a team.
Five of those 17 came from Lucas Luttrell who led all scorers in the game with 22 points.
Logan Jozwiak finished with 19 points, including five 3-pointers, and was just shy of finishing with a double-double, pulling down eight rebounds.
Rene Scott scored 16 points in the game and added four assists.
Marquis Grays came away with his 10th double-digit outing of the season, finishing with 15 points and tallying six rebounds.
Adnan Halilovic was the fifth and final Eagle to record double-digit points with 13.
Faulkner's next game will be in Pulaski, Tennessee, where they will take on Martin Methodist. Tipoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
