PULASKI, Tenn. - Faulkner (18-12, 10-10 SSAC) led through the first three quarters of tonight's Southern States Athletic Conference battle and regular season finale against No. 25 Martin Methodist (21-9, 15-5 SSAC), but a lopsided fourth catapulted the home team into the 63-58 victory.

The Lady Eagles led the RedHawks by nine points heading into the final 10 minutes of play, but Martin Methodist held the visitors to just seven point while tallying 21 of its own to gain the win.

Faulkner was again paced by Faith LeGate on both sides of the ball. The senior had 19 points and nine rebounds.

Chelsea Burt added 10 more points to the total and Kayla Tillman had nine.

Faulkner will next enter the conference tournament as the No. 6 seed and will open the event with a rematch against third-seeded Martin Methodist. The Game 6 matchup is slated for 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex downtown.
