CLEVELAND, Ga. – Faulkner's men's soccer team (6-1-1) lost its first game of the season in a 2-0 battle against Truett-McConnell (9-1-1) this afternoon.

The two goals for the Bears came inside the first twenty minutes, the first in the 13th minute by Frederico Divino, and the second in the 17th minute by Joao Costa.

Goalkeeper Caio Calado (6-1-1) recorded three saves while giving up both goals.

Faulkner will go on the road for its first Southern States Athletic Conference match of the season against No. 8 Mobile on Thursday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. central.
