NEW ORLEANS, La. – Faulkner's women's basketball team (16-4, 4-4 SSAC) lost 100-59 against Southern States Athletic Conference opponent Loyola University on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Wolf Pack was able to build up an early lead and forced the Lady Eagles to take tough shots in order to try and close the deficit.

Brandy Alley completed the double-double for Faulkner, pulling down a court-high 14 rebounds and adding 11 points.

Chelsea Burt led the way in scoring with 13 points.

The Lady Eagles will take on No. 22 Martin Methodist on Thursday at Tine Davis Gymnasium. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
