NEW ORLEANS, La. – The No. 24 Eagles basketball team (13-6, 5-4 SSAC) fell 70-58 to Loyola University on Saturday evening.

Faulkner struggled offensively, only knocking down 27 percent of their shots, and were unable to cut into the runs made by the Wolf Pack.

Rene Scott led all scorers with 26 points and added four steals.

Logan Jozwiak and Marquis Grays each came away with 10 points.

The Eagles will face off against Southern States Athletic Conference foe Martin Methodist on Thursday at Tine Davis Gymnasium. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
