DALTON, Ga. – The No. 11 Eagles basketball team (12-3, 4-1 SSAC) fell 75-63 to Southern States Athletic Conference foe, No. 18 Dalton State on Saturday afternoon.

Faulkner had an early 6-0 lead to start the game, but the Roadrunners went on an 11-0 run and would hang on to the lead for the remainder of the game.

The Eagles were led by Marquis Grays with 19 points.

Logan Jozwiak recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Lucas Luttrell added 14 points.

Faulkner's next game will be against SSAC opponent Blue Mountain College on Thursday at Tine Davis Gymnasium. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
