The Eagles (4-7-2, 0-4 SSAC) staggered into Saturday's match minus a handful of starters who have succombed to the injury bug and looked to have a the first result of the conference season, but an 84th minute strike from Amin Saheb from Dalton State (5-7-1, 1-3 SSAC) lifted the Roadrunners to a 2-1 win Saturday in Dalton, Ga. in a crucial SSAC meeting for both sides. 

Augusto Camara lit the scoreboard first in the 58th minute with his tenth goal of the season. The goal brought Camara even with Jarom Farnsworth's single-season goal-scoring mark and one behind the all-time single-season record set by Rodrigo Pontes in 2009.

Dalton State equalized in the 67th on an own goal before Daniel Valenciano found Saheb for the game winner and time was running thin. 

Caio Calado (4-7-2) made seven saves in the loss, the highest mark of the season and tied his career record for single-game saves. 

The Eagles will welcome Brewton-Parker to Billy D. Hilyer Stadium for a SSAC matchup where both teams will seek their first conference victory Thursday night at 7:30. Senior day will be Saturday immediately following the women's game.
