Box Score The Lady Eagles (18-9, 9-2 SSAC) fought back from an error-riddled first set to defeat Middle Georgia (2-12, 1-11 SSAC) in the next three to claim the SSAC match 21-25, 25-18, 25-11, 25-17 tonight in Macon, Ga.
Faulkner fell behind to the Knights due to 13 attacking errors in the first set, but corrected its mistakes in the final three frames, only hitting a combined 13 in the sets it won.
Daijah Washington and Krystalynn Leomiti both recorded double-doubles via kills and digs with 12 and 12 and 14 and 11 respectively. Alyssa Stagner also recorded a double-double, but with 40 assists and 18 digs. Stagner was the lone setter on the evening.
Julianne Wilkes scooped 39 digs while Alysa Vinson added 20.
The Lady Eagles scattered nine aces, seven of which came from the combination of Stagner and Vinson.
Brewton-Parker (2-19, 0-9) will play host to Faulkner tomorrow at 1 p.m. in Mt. Vernon, Ga. The Lady Eagles defeated the Barons 25-12, 25-14, 25-13 earlier this season in Montgomery.
