The Lady Eagles (19-9, 10-2 SSAC) hot streak continued Saturday afternoon in Mt. Vernon, Ga. with a 25-8, 25-19, 25-18 victory over the Barons (2-20, 0-10 SSAC) for Faulkner's ninth consecutive win. 

The guests came out on fire in the first set, earning 25 points in just 33 rallies. The Lady Eagles had their best attacking set of the match in the second, hitting for .429. The last frame saw 13 Faulkner kills as the Lady Eagle attack could not be stopped. 

Faulkner's defense was impressive once again tonight, holding the Barons to a .065 hitting percentage on the evening. Julianne Wilkes had 10 digs on the afternoon, only nine fewer than the entire Brewton-Parker side. 

Tori Marchant was unstoppable on the attack today with nine kills on 12 efforts. Alyssa Stagner picked up 17 assists in the contest while Katie Musser contributed seven. 

Wilkes and Stagner each picked up three aces in the match.

Mobile and Martin Methodist are each withing a one game of Faulkner for first place in the SSAC. 

The Lady Eagles will travel to New Orleans Tuesday night at 6 p.m. to face a Loyola. Faulkner has currently won nine in a row against the Wolfpack and is 13-12 against the conference foe all-time.
