MARIETTA, Ga. — Faulkner (5-5) made quick work of St. Andrews by a score of 25-14, 25-23,25-12 in the opening match, but fell to (RV) Reinhardt 25-16, 25-23 ,25-22 this afternoon here at Life University for the Running Eagles Classic.

The Lady Eagles limited the Knights to 21 kills in the first meeting between the two sides. Conversely, Faulkner averaged over 12 kills per set.

The birds scattered seven aces between five players.

Errors were very costly against a Reinhardt side that is being looked at for national ranking. The Lady Eagles accounted for 41 errors in the three-set contest.

Tori Marchant led the squad with 11 kills on the day while Katie Musser paced the assists category with 19. Julianne Wilkes contributed 22 digs.

Faulkner will face former SSAC foe College of Coastal Georgia and the hosts Life tomorrow at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
