Box Score

The Lady Eagles (8-8, 0-1 SSAC) opened their conference schedule tonight against defending Southern States Athletic Conference champions and unanimous pick to repeat Mobile. The Rams proved why they are as highly regarded in the conference in the 3-1 result over Faulkner tonight in Mobile.

Faulkner was crippled by 28 attack errors in the contest as well as five service errors.

Krystalynn Leomiti led the visitors with nine kills but eight errors dropped her attack percentage to .032 on the outing.

Katie Musser recorded a double-double with 16 assists and 10 digs.

The night, however, belonged to defending SSAC Player of the Year Mirella Gatterdam. She led all players with 22.5 points, predominantly from 20 kills. She also completed a double-double with 11 kills.
