Faulkner conceded a 79th minute goal on the road Thursday for the lone tally of the SSAC contest against the Brewton-Parker, suffering a 1-0 loss. This contest marks the first loss to the annual opponent since a loss by forfeit in 2012. 

Samuel Figuero's free kick found the head of Ermin Omeragic who tucked the ball into the net. 

The Eagles scattered 21 shot attempts with seven ending on frame but could not get past Baron goalkeeper Jamir Stewart who held the clean sheet. 

Caio Calado (JR/Sao Bernardo Do Campo, Sao Paulo, Brazil) made three saves in the loss. 

After winning the first five contests of the season, Faulkner attempts to snap a four game winless skid Saturday against Middle Georgia. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. central.
