The annual conference meeting of Faulkner and Moblie is always a physical matchup and Saturday night's 1-0 loss to the Rams on the road was no exception. The in-state battle saw 34 fouls, three yellow cards and the lone goal being scored by Victor Pimentel converting a penalty.

The decisive moment came in the 44th minute when Caio Calado (JR/Sao Bernardo Do Campo, Sao Paulo, Brazil)'s challenge on the ball misfired and earned a yellow card and a kick from the mark for the eighth-ranked team in the country. 

The Eagles shot eight times with four finding frame. Calado made six saves in the match. 

Faulkner sits five points out of the SSAC tournament field with nine potential points remaining and prepares for a crucial home match with Martin Methodist who currently holds the sixth spot Halloween night at 7:30 p.m.
