Mobile jumped out 28-8 lead in the first half and Faulkner was never able to catch up as The Eagles fell 88-68 at Spring Hill College Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles went back into the locker room down 44-23 after shooting 33 percent from the floor and ten turnovers. Faulkner heated up in the second, but the mountain of deficit was too much to overcome. Adnan Halilovic (SR/Mali Zvornik, Serbia) led Faulkner with 17 points. Rene Scott (JR/Mobile, Ala.) added 12 while Rene Scott and Milan Skundric (JR/Negotin, Serbia) each contributed 11.

The Eagles currently sit at 17-11 overall and 10-10 in SSAC play. They are tied for sixth in the conference with Middle Georgia State and are securely in the SSAC Men's Basketball Championship field. Faulkner will host Florida College Thursday night at Tine Davis Gymnasium at 7:30 p.m.
