MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Faulkner got off to a 9-0 run to open the game and never looked back on the way to a 93-78 victory over Bethel Thursday night. C.J. Williamson (SO/Guntersville, Ala.) converted an and-1 opportunity with 7:21 to go in the first half to ignite a 15-2 run and take a 22-point lead.

Faulkner utilized a 10-2 run early in the second half to stretch the lead to 27. The Eagles found another big run beginning at the 12:03 mark when C.J. Jones (SR/Port Richey, Fla.) knocked down a three to launch a 10-3 run and move the advantage to 31.

Faulkner shot 47.1 percent from the field as well as 39.1 percent from the three-point line. The Eagles also won the rebounding battle 49-41.

Nate Bradley (SR/Concord, N.Y.) finished with 19 points to go along with six rebounds and four assists. Jones added 19 points with four rebounds. Milan Skundric (SR/Negotin, Serbia) finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Jamon Moore (SR/Albany, Ga.) scored 12 points while grabbing four rebounds and four assists.

Cayden Edmonson topped Bethel with 19 points while Javonte Ellis added 12. 

The win is Faulkner's ninth straight and the 13th in its last 14 games.

Faulkner (18-3, 9-1 SSAC) returns to action Saturday at 2 p.m. when it hosts Blue Mountain.
