Oelmez's hat trick paces Eagles past Streaks

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Freshman Daniel Oelmez's Faulkner debut hat trick led the reserves team to a 3-0 win over Capital City Streaks Wednesday night at the Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex. The three-goal performance marked the first time in the seven year history of the reserves team an individual player recorded a hat trick.

The German forward's goals were assisted by three Americans: Kennith Mount, Chris Soto and Koen Beard.

Metz Ncube and Cristobal Romero combined for the clean sheet behind a stout defensive effort smothering several dangerous Streaks attacks.
