Box Score MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – Faulkner's SSAC opener against Brewton-Parker Friday night proved to be a high scoring affair that left the Lady Eagles just short in an 88-82 loss.

The Lady Eagles closed a nine-point deficit at the end of the first quarter to a four-point margin by halftime. Brewton-Parker used a 27-19 third quarter to go up by double figures before Faulkner fought back into it again. 

Ashlyn Adkins topped Faulkner with 19 points, five rebounds and three assists. Channing Gafford added 18 points and eight boards. Ryann Sylvester had 12 points while Megan Wilkinson finished with 11. 

Faulkner (3-6, 0-1 SSAC) plays Brewton-Parker again Saturday afternoon.
