Box Score PANAMA CITY, Fla. – Faulkner finished off a 3-0 week at the Battle at the Beach on the campus of Gulf State Coast State College with a 75-63 victory over Rust College Wednesday evening. The Eagles never trailed in the game while winning the rebounding battle 39-35 and taking the points in the paint comparison 40-32. 

In Scott Sanderson's return to the bench, Faulkner shot 47.6 percent from the floor and 47.1 from beyond the arc. The Eagles got double digit scoring performances from four players while moving their all-time Battle at the Beach record to 9-0 over the three-year history of the event. 

Jalon Perry paced the squad with 20 points, four rebounds and four assists. C.J. Hines had 14 points, four rebounds and five assists. Daniel Garmendia had 14 points and three boards while Trace Hill finished with 12 points and seven rebounds. 

Faulkner (8-1) took the Bay Bracket championship of the Battle at the Beach with the win. The Eagles return to action Monday in the friendly confines of Tine Davis Gymnasium when it hosts Thomas at 7 p.m.
