MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Faulkner took the lead from the outset and scarcely ever looked back on the way to an 83-50 victory over Oakwood Monday night. The Eagles went up 14-6 after the first quarter of play but really put the game away with a 29-8 run in the second period.
Faulkner won the rebound battle 55-34 and assisted on 15 of 29 made baskets in the effort.
The Eagles shot 45 percent form the floor and 30 percent from three in the contest.
Faulkner had four players finish in double figures.
Nequoia Adams topped all scorers with 18 points.
Ashlyn Adkins finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds as well as five assists and two steals.
Morgan Holland contributed 12 points and 11 boards while
Micala Fisanick had 10 points and three steals
Faulkner (6-5) returns to action Saturday when it hosts Talladega in an SSAC clash.
