THOMASVILLE, Ga. - In its eighth game against teams appearing in the most recent NAIA poll this season the Lady Eagles fell 5-0 to the Thomas Night Hawks in the final regular match Saturday afternoon.
With Mobile's loss to Middle Georgia, the Lady Eagles clinched the three seed and will face Dalton State either Thursday, Friday or Saturday in the opening round of the SSAC Women's Soccer Championship.
A reshuffled lineup saw four different Thomas players score with the sub Jonna Wittwer scoring two. The Night Hawks peppered 13 shots on target while holding the Lady Eagles to just four.Â
Megan White made eight saves in the match.Â
