Trace Hill dime to
Jalon Perry who cashed in the layup for the 2-0 lead. After William Carey answered with a jumper on the ensuing possession, Hill turned a

Perry scored the next nine Eagle points and accounted for 17 of the first 31 on the visitors' side of the scoreboard as Faulkner ran the advantage as high as 19 in the first half. Fittingly, Perry knocked down a jumper for the final bucket of the frame, leaving the Eagles up 39-23 at half.
