PULASKI, Tenn. - The Lady Eagles saw their season come to a close Friday against the SSAC Regular Season champions on the road with an 11-0 loss against No. 5 ranked UT Southern at Grissom Pitch.
The Firehawks, who boast one of the nation's best offenses, scored first in the sixth minute when Maclani Michael scored from Natalia Richartz's assist. The hosts would score four more in the half to take a 5-0 lead into the break with Marina Nawa scoring two of them.
UTS poured it on in the second half with Michael completing a hat trick en route to scoring six more.
The Lady Eagles returned to the postseason after a one-year hiatus and finished the season 5-10-3.
