DALTON, Ga. – Faulkner saw its three-game win streak screech to a halt Thursday night as it dropped a key SSAC road game 104-81 at Dalton State. The Roadrunners got their scoring done with incredible efficiency, knocking down 62.3 percent of their shots from the floor. The scoring for DSU came from inside and out with very little in between as they dropped 33 points from beyond the arc and 50 in the paint while also making 17 free throws in the game.
Faulkner answered by shooting 40.8 percent from the floor and 29.2 percent from beyond the arc in the game.
Maliek Sadler topped the Eagles with 25 points and eight rebounds. K.J. Rogers added 16 points and six assists while 
Jonathan Garcia finished with 13 points. 
Jeffrey Selden added 10 points and three blocks in the loss.
Faulkner (12-4, 3-2 SSAC) returns to action Saturday when it hosts William Carey at 2 p.m.
