Box Score WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Faulkner's season came to a close in the first round of the national tournament Friday when it fell 90-75 to Keiser University.
The Eagles never led in the game and trailed 18-2 at the 15:45 mark of the first half. Faulkner went on a run to get to within six with 12:35 left in the opening half. The Seahawks ran the lead back to as many as 14 before the teams headed to the locker room.
Jonathan Garcia hit a three with 19:09 remaining in the game to get it back to single digits. The Eagles narrowed it to six by the 17:43 mark before another 8-0 run from Keiser pushed it back to 14.
Garcia drained a three with 15:27 to go to spark a 10-2 run to get the game back to two possessions. The teams traded buckets and Faulkner got back to within five on a pair of 
Maliek Sadler free throws with 9:39 left in the game.
After Keiser ran the lead back to double figures with 5:48 remaining, Faulkner made one final push to get it back to three possessions, but the Eagles did not have enough juice to finish the comeback effort.
Vincent Miszkiewicz dominated for the Seahawks with 29 points and 13 rebounds to go along with seven blocked shots. He anchored a 42-35 rebounding battle victory for Keiser.
For its part, Faulkner shot 38.8 percent from the floor and 33 percent from three. Garcia topped Faulkner with 21 points in his final outing as an Eagle, concluding his Eagle career with 1,202 points. That mark makes him 15th all-time in program history.
Jeffrey Selden added 16 points and eight rebounds to go along with four assists. 
Gabriel Rivera had 16 points while K.J. Rogers finished with 13 points, 10 boards and six assists.
Faulkner finishes its season at 20-10.
