Jarman named finalist for the 2025 NFCA NAIA Freshman of the Year

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Six finalists, one from each of the NFCA's NAIA regions, have been selected by the Association's NAIA All-America Committee for the 2025 NFCA NAIA Freshman of the Year award.  

Faulkner University's Addyson Jarman (Region I), Columbia College's Megan Graver (Region II), Southern Oregon University's Ayla Davies (Region III), Eastern Oregon University's Raygun Klippert (Region IV), Mount Vernon Nazarene University's Skylar Zimmerman (Region V) and Madonna University's Brynn Anteau (Region VI) are in the running for the award, which will be announced on June 9. 

Davies was named Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Pitcher of the Year, while Jarman (Southern States Athletic Conference), Garver (American Midwest Conference), Klippert (CCC) and Anteau (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference) were tabbed their league's freshmen or newcomer of the year. Additionally, Jarman, Davies, Zimmerman and Anteau collected NFCA first-team All-Region recognition.

All six finalists are representing their programs on the list for the first time.

The award honors the outstanding athletic achievement among freshman softball student-athletes throughout NAIA. To be eligible, student-athletes must come from an NFCA member institution.
