MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the 2025 SSAC Men's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Team and Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Loyola's Jace Luckoski was named 2025 SSAC Men's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The senior math major posted a 3.99 GPA. On the course, he finished 8th at the SSAC Championship to earn First-Team All-Conference honors with a time of 26:36.55.

· Givens leads the pack with a 4.0 GPA, while McGuire boasts a 3.93 mark
· Everyone on the team earned All-Conference honors with top-15 finishes at the SSAC Championship
· To be eligible, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and have competed in 50% of competitions
· Graduate students and transfers must have completed one semester at the school
