Box Score MOBILE, Ala. - The Eagles rolled past Louisiana Christian for a 5-0 clean sheet Saturday afternoon in a neutral site game at The Jungle.

A tough save from Andre Ferreira in the ninth minute set the tone that the day was going to belong to Faulkner. Julio Cesar opened the scoring in the 20th minute when his first shot fell to Konsti Witte on the left side of the box. Witte squared back to the Brazilian forward who punched in the eventual game winner. It was Cesar's 18th career goal, tying him for 2nd most goals all-time. 

Faulkner allowed just one more shot in the half to hold onto the 1-0 lead. 

In the 54th minute, Angel Ugwumba, who saw his first action of the season, drove a ball up the right wing to Bernardo Juca who found Konsti Witte in the middle for an open goal finish, putting Witte into a tie for second most goals all-time as well.

Gustavo Nau picked out Juca in the 60th down the right wing where the dynamic freshman fired his second goal of the year to make it 3-0.

In the 67th, Juca caused chaos again as his shot was saved but bounced back in off a defender to make it 4-0. The scoring didn't stop there as just six minutes later, Leo Freire picked out Pepé Riofrio who squared to Ugwumba for a tap-in to make it 5-0. 

Faulkner outshot LCU 20-7 with an 11-3 on-target advantage. 

The Eagles are 3-0 for the first time since 2019 and continue the neutral site trips Friday as they take on St. Thomas (Fla.) in Marietta, Ga. at Life's home field. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. central.
