MARIETTA, Ga. - No. 22 Faulkner took an early lead over Life, but the No. 9 Running Eagles struck four unanswered goals to pull away as the Eagles fell 4-1 in SSAC play Sunday afternoon at Lupo Family Field.
Asaph Silveira scored eight minutes in with an assist from
Bernardo Juca. It was Silveira's first of the season and Juca's fourth assist for his seventh overall contribution.Â
Life saw goals from four different players starting in the 20th minute before taking the lead in the 35th. Faulkner fought for an equalizer but goals in the 72nd the 77th minutes from the Running Eagles put it away.Â
Faulkner outshot Life 16-15.Â
The Eagles look to bounce back against Xavier (La.) Thursday night in a long awaited return home.Â
