Jordan Cagle enters his third full-time and fifth overall season coaching for the Eagles.
This season will be his second with his current job titles, as Rob Gray moved him to the other side of the ball and placed him in charge of football operations last year. After serving as a defensive graduate assistant from 2018-20, he earned a full-time promotion to defensive line coach and director of player personnel from Tommy Wasden ahead of the postponed 2020 campaign.
Cagle coached two All Mid-South Conference defensive linemen that season in Phillip Russell and Shae Taylor. He coached First Team All Mid-South Appalachian Division offensive lineman Tyler Pritchett in 2021, as well as a two-time first teamer in 2019 and 2020, Quan Stokes, and 2020 second teamer Jake Johnson.
Upon his graduation from Jacksonville State in 2017, the former offensive lineman went into the field of ministry. He served as Youth and Family Minister at University Church of Christ in Mobile, Alabama, where he worked for six months until the GA opportunity at Faulkner presented itself.
Cagle married the former Morgan Sutton, a 2016 Faulkner alumna, in May 2021.
