Micah James is entering his first season as an assistant football coach at Faulkner.

James started his coaching career in 2014 as a defensive graduate assistant at Arkansas State University.  After two seasons at Arkansas State, he was hired as an assistant coach at Faulkner to work with the offensive line.  James spent the 2013 season competing for a roster spot with the Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys, following an All-Sun Belt Conference senior season at Middle Tennessee State University.

A native of Hoschton, Georgia, James was a two-year letterman at Georgia Military College and a two-year letterman at Middle Tennessee State University, all as an offensive lineman.  He earned an associate’s degree from Georgia Military College in 2010, and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and coaching from Middle Tennessee State University in 2012.
