Faulkner University

Tommy Wasden is entering his first season on the Faulkner football coaching staff. He was hired in February 2018 to serve as associate head coach.

Wasden started his career as a high school football coach, including 16 seasons as a head coach with stops at Goshen High School, Pike County High School, Meadowview Christian School, and Mobile Christian School. He also spent two years as the headmaster at Meadowview Christian and 16 years as the president of Mobile Christian.

A native of Selma, Alabama, Wasden earned an associate's degree in 1984 from Holmes Community College, a bachelor's degree in physical education from Troy University in 1988, and a master's degree in educational leadership from Troy University in 1999.

Wasden and his wife Kim have three children - Payton, Gerren, and Jordyn.
