Fahel is entering his third season as assistant coach for Faulkner Men's Soccer and has helped lead the Eagles to a 18-11-4 record in his tenure.
Fahel had a decorated career in Brazil as a defensive midfielder from 2005-2017, appearing in 412 matches and playing over 32,000 minutes with nearly 200 of those matches and 15,000 minutes coming in Brazil's Serie A, the top flight of the country. He played 170 matches for Bahia and 70 for Botafogo. He helped Bahia return to South American competition after a 22 year drought by earning a place in the Copa Sudamericana in 2012.
After his playing career, Fahel served as an assistant manager for Juventude where he helped the side earn promotion to Serie A for the first time in 13 years.
