Holmberg is entering his first season as assistant coach for the Faulkner Women's Soccer program.
Before coming to Faulkner, Holmberg served as a volunteer assistant coach and goalkeeper coach at Birmingham Southern College and The University of Montevallo. While at Birmingham Southern, Holmberg helped the Panthers to the SAA regular season title with a second team all-conference goalkeeper. Holmberg has coached at various clubs and high schools along with his college experience.
A native of Hoover, Alabama, Holmberg graduated from Hoover High School and played two seasons at the University of Alabama-Huntsville before transferring to the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he graduated with a psychology degree.
