Separation was very minimal between Faulkner (1-8-2, 0-4-1 SSAC) and Brewton-Parker (6-5-2, 1-4-1) as a 86th minute goal from the Barons defeated the Lady Eagles 1-0 Thursday night at Billy D. Hilyer Stadium. 

The Lady Eagles were celebrating a goal from Emmy Copeland in the 63rd minute before a prolonged discussion between the referees pulled the goal out of the net for an offisde called on the freshman midfielder to keep the scoreboard blank. 

Brewton-Parker's breakthrough came when a longball took a high hop. Graviela Fonesca headed the ball to Dasia Shepard in front of goal. Shepard made no mistake with the top-netting shot for the winner. 

Rakeema Najiy made seven saves on the evening. In the last two matches, she has tallied 18 saves and allowed just one goal. 

The Lady Eagles will host Middle Georgia State at 2 p.m. Saturday for senior day. The ceremony will begin at 1:40 at Billy D. Hilyer Stadium.
