Second half Ram burst sinks Lady Eagles

After going into the break scoreless, Mobile came out its "home" gates hot in the second half, scoring three goals in the first 14 minutes, as Faulkner fell 5-0 in an SSAC contest Saturday night. 

The match was originally scheduled for early afternoon on Mobile's campus, but due to the weather, it was played off campus at 6:30 p.m. The defense was under consistent pressure all match, being outshot 13-2 in the first half alone. Megan White (FR/San Angelo, Texas) made five first half saves and nine in the contest. 

The Lady Eagles currently sit in a tie with Dalton State for the final spot in the six-team SSAC Championship field with three matches to play. Each team hosts Martin Methodist and Bethel next weekend before road matches on Tuesday, Nov. 5. They sit four points behind fifth place Mobile who has just one match remaining .

Faulkner welcomes the seventh-ranked RedHawks for an SSAC matchup Halloween night at 5 p.m.
