The Lady Eagles held sixth-ranked Martin Methodist to a scoreless first half on the back of eight Megan White (FR/San Angelo, Texas) saves in the opening frame before the RedHawks struck four times in 13 minutes in Thursday night's 5-1 loss at Billy D. Hilyer Stadium.

Faulkner appeared to concede in the 50th mintue, but an offside was called on the striker negating the ball in the net. In the 56th minute, Martin Methodist's Suzuho Yamasaki scored direct from a corner to break the flood gates open. They would strike in the 60th, 62nd and 69th minute to put the game out of reach.

Nanako Omae (JR/Kyoto, Japan) headed in a set piece from Victoria Moran (SO/Buenos Aires, Argentina) in the 73rd minute looping the keeper to pull within three. A RedHawk goal in the 84th minute finalized the scoreline.

Megan White turned in a stellar performance with fourteen saves on the evening.
