BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. – Faulkner knocked off SSAC foe Blue Mountain 85-61 in a non-conference road game Tuesday night. The Lady Eagles took the lead on a pair of Micala Fisanick free throws with 7:05 left in the first quarter and never lost it again. Faulkner ran the lead to six by the end of the first quarter and to 19 by halftime.  
 
The Lady Eagles shot 43.7 percent from the floor while outrebounding Blue Mountain 45-39. Faulkner shot 33.3 percent from three while knocking down 81.3 percent of their free throws.

Channing Gafford topped the Lady Eagles with 19 points and six rebounds. Fisanick notched 12 points and six rebounds. Olivia Colson had 10 points and three boards. Ashlyn Adkins finished with nine points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Faulkner (3-5) travels to Mt. Vernon, Ga. Friday to open conference play against Brewton-Parker with a two-game weekend series.
